The Yes to AV referendum campaign was probably the least competent campaign in British politics since Michael Foot's 1983 Labour General Election campaign.
It would be tempting to believe that Yes lost because No lied (though they did) or because No spent more (probably not true) but I believe that the it is important to learn the lessons from the campaign - both tactical and strategic.
